The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:25-26,"Agree with your adversary quickly."   It was turbulences times in Jesus's earthly ministry, and the times he was training his disciples. It needs to be made clear that Jesus is not teaching anyone who is in law enforcement ,and the Juges who make judgments in the courtrooms are our enemy. There are some who do cross the line and abuse their power, but the system believe it or not does clean itself. During Jesus's earthly ministry, there were some who disagreed and didn't  want the gospel taught and became adversaries. Jesus is teaching us when we cross their path and they will bargain, Agree with them quickly because if we Don't they have the upper hand.

The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:23-24," leave your gift there before the altar."   A alter is more than just a symbol, particularly in the Christian church. Its a place where the Holy Of Holies is, who is God. It is not to be taken lightly but respected and honored. We approach  the altar to present ourselves before God, to bring gifts, having a repenting heart in meekness  and prayer.  When doing these things our mind should be free of junk. Jesus is teaching  that when we come before God, knowing we are fighting  with our brother or sister, leave the gift at the alter, or wait, and go clear the air with our brother or sister.

The following writing is inspired by Matthew 5:22," shall be in danger of the judgment, shall be in danger of the council, shall be in danger of hell fire." When does being anrgy is not anger, but something much more greater? And, what does Jesus means when he said without a cause, does he mean any cause?  These three penalties that Jesus mentioned, is all related from being angry. There is a difference in being just angry, and being anrgy for a legitimate reason. If someone is just angry, they will say anything  to hurt people, because  they don't care, they miserable and destructive. They are in danger of the judgment that God will give, and because they are saying  words  that hurt, such as Raca, which means  worthless in a bad way, they will face the Church  Council, because they are just angry.

The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:21," Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment."  Killing is done through out our lives, whether It's the killing of animals for food for us who eat meat,or the picking of fruits and vegetables  to eat as a vegetarian, and many other things and life sources that we kill on a daily basis.  Although this is not what Jesus is refering to as he says that you have heard that it was said of them of old times,Thou shalt not kill, speaking about one of the commandments under the law and of people, yet these things we kill.We don't have permission from God to just kill people whenever we feel like it,or because we don't  like them and have the means and the will to do so. Killing  just like seasons and every other purpose  under heaven have a time, as it is stated in  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, and it is justified  by God when it is done in this

The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:20, " For I say unto you,That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."  All nations have groups of people who governs, teach, enforce laws and standards to it's people. Israel is not different.  The Scribes and Pharisees are apart of Israel's governing establishment, who help guide and governs the people. What makes us justified before God is if we obey the laws of God, the same if we obey the laws of the land. Notice, Jesus is not rebuking the Scribes and Pharisees for being  scribes and Pharisees, but for the corruption that have took over under their watch, and the unbelief and self righteousness that they have in their hearts against. The Scribes and Pharisees are not the only ones guilty of these sins,it can be found in the Christian establishment today. Lord help us to repent.

The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:18-19," Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."  Laws, rules, and standards are created and enforce for the benefit of society at large. All laws that we have rather it's as small as littering, or very serious as murder are expected to be obeyed and upheld. When laws and rules are broken, penalties and punishment are enforced to those who break the law, and instruct others to do so. This is also true with the laws of God, which are ancient and is current. God's laws stand forever. When Jesus came, he revised some and taught everyone to keep and uphold the laws and standards of God. We can be called great or least before God, the choice is up to each one of us.

The following comment is inspired by Matthew 5:17," Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill." A shadow is define by the Merriam Webster's Dictionary as a reflected image.  The Law, says Apostle Paul, a shadow of good things to come. God is the Law, a giant structure that has casted a shadow. God was upon Israel, and inspired the Prophets.  Jesus said, " Think not that I come to destroy the Law,(God), nor the Prophets, I am not come to destroy but to fulfil." He, (Jesus), came in the volume of the book, the bible, to do God's the Father will. Let us continue to do God's will.
